Over the years, DoxFlowy has been evolving in response to the needs of our users.

We’ve added new features, ensured DoxFlowy is as secure as Fort Knox, and did our best to respond to requests.

As long as a business is running, change is inevitable, good or bad.

After deep deliberation and consideration, we’ve decided to update our pricing to better reflect the needs of our customers and to better align with our evolving goals.

We’re removing some plans, updating others, and changing plan limits.  More on the specifics in a moment.

For most customers, you’ll actually see a reduction in the amount you pay.

What’s changing

Multiple things are being updated. This is in line with our evolving priorities and the needs of our customers.

One of the reasons we’re updating our pricing is that there were too many plans, which inevitably confused people. Confused people don’t make choices.

We want it to be easy for you to say yes or no to what DoxFlowy is offering.

In addition, we got a decent amount of feedback telling us that the way we handled seats could be confusing.

The plan had a base price and a base number of seats, then the additional per-seat pricing was different from the base per-seat pricing. That made it harder than it needed to be for people to quickly calculate what they’d pay in different scenarios.

In response to these challenges (and internal considerations), we’ve decided to make the following changes:

–        We’re removing the free plan

–        We’re removing the solo plan

–        We’re removing the business plan

–        We’re changing the Core and Team plan to flat, per-seat pricing

These changes are expected to produce two outcomes.

1.     Make it easier for people to understand the pricing and thereby reduce confusion

2.     Make it easier for smaller teams to get started with DoxFlowy

You can see the exact pricing and plan limits on our pricing page.

These changes are effective immediately. From today henceforth, new users will no longer be able to sign up for the plans that have been removed. Additionally, the 30-day countdown for free users has commenced.

How will it impact you?

First, it’s important to note that existing paying customers will be grandfathered into their current plans for the time being. That means you won’t be forced to switch as soon as the new plans go live.

We’ve not decided on a specific timeframe for the grandfather clause, but it will last a minimum of one year, and you’ll be given ample advance notice before we ask you to migrate to the new pricing.

Free plan users have 30 days to either upgrade their accounts or migrate off DoxFlowy. Of course, we hope you stay with us for years to come, but we know that some folks will inevitably leave.

The good news is that it has always been easy to access your data on DoxFlowy. After the thirty days have elapsed, free plan users will no longer be able to access the data in their free account. In order to do so, they’ll need to upgrade their account.

As a free user, when you log in, you’ll see a notice about a special deal that will make transitioning to the DoxFlowy paid plans painless.

As you can see, for most users, there won’t be much change. The main people who will be impacted are those who are new to DoxFlowy.

Conclusion

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be rolling out changes to our pricing plans. For our current customers, there won’t be much impact. Our free users will need to upgrade their account or migrate to another tool within 30 days to ensure there’s no loss of data.

This move comes as a result of shifting priorities and the needs of our customers. If you have any questions or you’re confused about anything, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. You can use our Contact Us form or live chat within the application.
